Our Basic Employability Course has grown into ShiftToIT, a practical, self-paced web development program run by Fair Share IT Services Pvt. Ltd. from Kothrud, Pune. It is built for students and freshers who are ready to take ownership of their own learning.
How the program works
Over three months you learn Ruby on Rails independently using curated documentation, project blueprints and AI-assisted learning, with 3 to 4 hours of daily focus. You then build and deploy your own database-backed web application and walk our engineers through how your code works.
What you will learn
- Web & programming foundations: how the web works, Linux, Git/GitHub, HTML and CSS.
- Ruby & backend fundamentals: Ruby syntax, object-oriented programming and databases.
- Building with Ruby on Rails: MVC, routes, controllers, models, Active Record and CRUD.
- Final project & assessment: a deployed web application, a project review and a technical assessment.
What to expect
- Fee: ₹25,000 for the 3-month self-learning environment and evaluations.
- This is not a lecture course. There is no daily teaching; our team gives direction, reviews progress and evaluates your work at milestones.
- Learners who clear all project evaluations earn a Ruby on Rails Assessment Certificate.
- Internships are not guaranteed. A few top performers may be invited to contribute to live projects at our discretion.
- No prior Ruby experience is needed, but you should know basic programming (variables, conditions, loops) in some language.
