Recovery is a problem for every business. There are three categories of customers:

  1. Customers who pay in advance or pay immediately after invoices is sent. We are extremely thankful to such customers.
  2. Customers who are simply forgetting to pay or are delaying payments due to genuine temporary issue. This is the category that needs reminders. Our completely unscientific discovery is: remind on Monday morning at 7 AM and they clear dues :-). We have a software solution for this category.
  3. Customers who have no intention to pay whatever you do. Sorry, but you need to go to court.

We have developed a web portal called Fair Bahi Khata (https://fairbahikhata.com/) . You just need to add customers, enter order (bill) and that is it. Our system keeps reminding every Monday at around 7 AM. Once you receive your dues, enter payment (full or partial). Once total payments matches the dues the customer will stop receiving SMS.

There many other useful features:

  1. You can tag customer orders by business name so you can use it for multiple businesses.
  2. You can get reports by time period by choosing start and end date (say financial year).
  3. You can generate invoices and receipts as PDF or excel.

Dealers are Partners helps ensuring that manufacturer has updated dealer contact details. Here is the flow of Dealers are Partners:

  1. Manufacturer uploads / enters basic dealer information from web portal [developed in Laravel – pHp]: https://dealersarepartners.com/
  2. Dealers download app from Google Play Store
  3. When they input phone number, they receive one time password if their basis data is already entered by manufacturer.
  4. Dealers can login only after entering correct OTP
  5. They can then modify the profile information
  6. There are many features like common Google Drive folder between manufacturer and dealers
  7. SMS text notification could be sent by manufacturer or dealer upon data upload.

Our Japanese classes in Pune started using https://zoom.us/ to conduct online classes right after the Government advisory. Anyone can register to https://zoom.us/ to attend or conduct a meeting. It is free for basic user. We have some suggestions for anyone conducting or attending online classes or conferences:
 
1. Turn off video when not needed to save bandwidth.
2. Watch out what clothes you wear and what is in your background since you might turn on video thinking you are at home and no one is watching!
3. Ditto for audio. Everyone has enough problems at home and so don’t need to hear yours :-). But in case your kid starts shouting when your audio is on, stay calm! May be introduce your kid to colleagues and go back to meeting.
4. There is a feature to raise hands. Do this if you need to interrupt teacher.
5. Teacher can mute all easily. Also, unmute all or one when she sees hand raised.
6. There a group chat function as well. Use this for sending any files to each other or questions and answers.
7. Teacher can share screen like white board.
