As per our discussion, a new proposed e-commerce web shop to be built on an e-commerce platform available in the market. For now, the proposed site will be mostly for branding purposes but customers will be able to purchase products to get home delivery. Shipping to the customer’s shipping address is required. Considering the future plans of expansion, we would like to propose to build an e-commerce site on the best available e-commerce platform.
In this proposal we would like to give you three options to implement the store. Request you to select one of them as per your requirement and necessity.

 

Option I

Solution:

Shopify is a widely used hosted e-commerce platform across the world. They have a stable platform and good support available. Please visit https://www.shopify.in/ for more details. Security, platform performance and a lot of available features are the plus points of using this platform.

Shop Setup/Development:

• Setup of a new Shopify store with payment gateway. This does not include the content writing charges.

• Setup of five products.

• Set up email notifications

• 1 GB shared hosting

• Add to cart feature

• Admin access to client

• Free 20 consulting hours after release of the store.

Option II

Solution:

Woocommerce is the most customizable platform based on WordPress platform. Actually it is a free to use platform but we have to manage it as it has to be deployed at our datacenter. In this case we have to take care of security and performance related issues. There are few managed services available like godaddy or siteground.

Shop Setup/Development:

• Setup of a new woocommerce store with payment gateway.This does not include the content writing charges
• Setup of five test products
• 1 GB shared hosting
• Add to cart feature
• Admin access to client
• Free 20 consulting hours after release from the store.

Other services:
Fair Share would be happy giving other services like ongoing support, content writing,etc.

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC):

50% of the development cost 2nd year onwards which includes:

1. 12 small/minor updates
2. Hosting renewal cost( paid to a third party)
3. 60 days backup
4. Responsibility of keeping your site live 365 days

Assumptions

• Fair Share’s client is responsible for buying a subscription of the selected platform.
• Client to provide domain name.
• All third party charges like a paid theme or app would be purchased by the client. Fair Share will help the client in purchasing it.
• Fair Share will set up a web shop and create only five products on the shop.
• Website will have Home, About Us, Privacy policy, Blogs, store locator, Contact Us with enquiry form pages.
• Client is responsible for product creation and management.
• Free 20 consulting hours after release of the store.
• The Client should provide all images, content needed for the set up of the initial web shop.
• Client is doing an agreement with the payment gateway. Fair Share will integrate the payment link in the website.

Please try to understand this:

1. We will need text content in a simple MS Word document and images from your side. Please understand that we are not authors, we are a technology company. But we will be glad to review your contents as a third party and give sincere suggestions.
2. We need theme confirmation before we start working on it. In case of template / theme change after confirmation, you will need to pay extra.
3. We can not modify selected theme (example: position of slider, number of slides, Menu/Logo position etc)
4. Please give your feedback during the process and not after the site is delivered.
5. Normally we complete the website within a month. So we need your contents well in time. Otherwise invoicing of additional charges will be done.
